You’re going to have to be more specific. What aspect of Jump to Line are you looking to replicate? If it’s just the bits that convert keypresses to glyphs on the screen, that’s just an NSTextField. If it’s the fact that it floats above the main editor window, you can just create a borderless NSWindow and put your NSTextField in it.
