Before deciding which schema to use for validation, I just want to tell,
that my main intention for choosing WXS was to allow editing and validation
of sitemaps in an editor like XML Spy. XML Spy supports validation through
DTD and W3C Schema (and probably also  DCD, XML-Data, BizTalk Schema are
also supported). But it does not support RelaxNG.
