The catalog-demo sample in 2.1 was working recently. Now it is broken by some external event. The page generation breaks after the first few lines when it reaches a <link> element in the source. http://localhost:8080/cocoon/samples/misc/catalog-demo
I cannot find any issue in the logfiles about this. The only solution is to comment-out the <link> element in samples/misc/catalog/catalog-demo.xml The main questions are why would this suddenly break and what else is broken? Any clues?
