Hi,

A while ago I created these changes for VelocityGenerator to be able to read
values from the sitemap and from the request.

I have seen parts of the discussion about inputmodules (can anybody point me
to an overview?), and I wonder if the generator has to be patched to use
inputmodules. Do inputmodules serve values through the sitemap that can be
handled in the sitemap (like String) can it be used for complex java
structures also?

If it's usefull an if anybody can point me in the right direction, I'd be
willing to change this generator and the WriteDOM(session)Transformer and
ReadDOM(Session)Transformer also.

TIA,
Michael

[PATCH] Enables velocitygenerator to get objects from request and
session

Summary: [PATCH] Enables velocitygenerator to get objects
from
                    request and session
           Product: Cocoon 2
           Version: Current CVS
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: sitemap components
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I patched velocity generator so that the scope of objects to be exported
to
velocity can be specified (request, session, sitemap). I changed/tested
it a
while ago, so I transferred the changes to the cvs version. Hope all
went
well ;-)
