Subject: Error starting Tomcat after Cocoon2 installed?
Hi
I followed all the instructions for a Cocoon installation under Tomcat
3.X [except for the xerxes-xxx part - there was no lib directory in the
build version I downloaded and no *.jar files either, so I am still
using xerces_1_2.jar].
When trying to start Tomcat I now get an error:
2002-01-30 04:57:36 - ContextManager: Adding context Ctx( /cocoon )
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.VerifyError: (class:
org/apache/cocoon/serv
let/CocoonServlet, method: createCocoon signature: ()V) Incompatible
object argument for function call
at java.lang.Class.newInstance0(Native Method)
....
Any ideas?
I was previously running Cocoon 1.8.2 - am still using Windows 2000 and
JDK1.3
Thanks
Derek
