This made my day!

Note that Cocoon relies on the "Modify" time of the files, and 
if you're editing your files remotely using a transfer program 
that touches only the "Change" time and not the "Modify" time, 
you be seeing the same stuff refresh after refresh, even if you 
do deactivate the caching as Nicola said further down in this 
thread.
