Yes, I did so successfully with 2.0.1 and Resin 2.0.5.
Is anybody out there with 2.0.2 who can try to disable logging?

You have indeed choosen the right approach to eliminate DEBUG,INFO,WARN and
ERROR  message from cocoon. My system (Tomcat 4.0.1 and Cocoon pre
2.0.1-dev)
*will* report FATAL_ERRORs only that way.
