Yep, did those for the Nth time. Then I decided to get the latest 1.3.X JDK and see if that helped and that did it. I'm now using: - JDK 1.3.1_03 - Tomcat 4.0.4 (release) - Cocoon 2.0.3 (branch) After install, cleaned the dirs mentioned above, rebuilt Cocoon build.bat -Dinclude.webapp.libs=yes webapp-local and the startup errors are gone. I hope that this could solve other people's problems with bug # 9701 too.
