Hi Oliver, To get Forrest to work on my system cocoon2.0.4 + jdk1.4.0_01 + tomcat 4.1.18, I basically moved the three jar files (xml-apis, xalan and xerces) from $TC/webapps/cocoon/WEB-INF/lib/ into $TC/common/endorsed/. Sorry for confusing you earlier, I was just making a comment that the common/endorsed directory were not needed with just the cocoon2.0.4 + jdk1.4.0_01.
