It would be really nice to have man pages for the basic programs (rather than the setup/admin docs) included as part of the source tree and built/installed as part of the normal install. 'nroff -man' has had a very long life, and is still going strong. I can't imagine that anyone would want to install coda and object to the manpages being installed - if so they can submit a configure.in patch to --disable-man-pages :-)
