Unless you have modifications in RVM you need to preserve, venus -init
should do the trick. I've never suffered from doing that, except for
a bit of waiting for hoard to rebuild the cache. Chances are good
that whatever is in RVM (that is not on the server) is not recoverable
without inordinate amount of effort.
