I have been having various problems with getting coda to resolve
its own host name. Perivously insalled coda (5.3.20) servers / clients did not
have this problem.
1. entering the command clog produces the error
Unable to resolve addresses for Coda auth2 servers in realm 'coda13'
2. /coda only shows the ipaddress of 192.168.0.13 , no coda13
3. cfs rmmount /coda/192.168.0.13/test2
VIOC_AFS_DELETE_MT_PT: Invalid argument
4. cfs mkmount /coda/192.168.0.13/test2 test2
/coda/192.168.0.13: Invalid argument
Solutions tried:
a. coda13 exists in /etc/hosts as 192.168.0.13
b. on top of that I setup of a dns server to make dig resolve coda13 as well
this did not work.
c. I put "coda13 192.168.0.13" in /usr/local/etc/coda/realms
this allowed clog to work, though no luck on /coda listings
and clog no longer reports this error. Though problem # 2 still exists.
d. put ipaddress of 192.168.0.13 in server.conf , no affect
