Hello, all!
Due to unvaluable help of Jan Harkes I discovered the problem of the
GetRootVolume error with a good hosts file: It was a library matter. I
have mixed two different set of libraries, one on /usr/lib, and other in
/usr/local/lib.
Now I can run coda, mount remote directories... I have only one little
problem. I follow literally the instructions of the documentation with a
full working coda cell, formed by one SCM -server1- and three servers
-server2, server3 and server4-. The creation of the volume with
createvol_rep worked very well, giving the following result:
[root@server1 root]# createvol_rep comun E0000102 /vicepa
Servers are (server1 server2 server3 server4 )

Do you wish this volume to be Backed Up (y/n)? [n] y
Day to take full dumps: [Mon]
echoing 7f000002 IFIIIII comun >>/vice/db/dumplist
Well, it looks good. But from scm I try:
cfs mkm /coda/comun comun
It runs softly, but It does not create a working mountpoint.
In a desesperate try, I tryied:
cfs mkm /coda/comun.0 comun.0
cfs mkm /coda/comun.1 comun.1
cfs mkm /coda/comun.2 comun.2
cfs mkm /coda/comun.3 comun.3
But it also did not work.
At the same time, I have some non-replicated volumes created, and
mounted, and they work fine, the servers can see them clearly, and work
fine.
Any ideas about creating a mountpoint of a replicated volume?
Yours:
David
