It slipped my mind that there were messages from createvol_rep. That
was much earlier in my dinking around, and I was never clear on whether
what I was seeing was expected or not. To wit:
[root@sagarmatha linux]# createvol_rep codaroot E0000100 /vicepa
Getting initial version of /vice/vol/BigVolumeList.
V_BindToServer: binding to host sagarmatha.nokia.net
GetVolumeList finished successfully
V_BindToServer: binding to host sagarmatha.nokia.net
Servers are (sagarmatha.nokia.net )
V_BindToServer: binding to host sagarmatha.nokia.net
GetVolumeList finished successfully
Found no partitions for server sagarmatha.nokia.net.
I wasn't sure if that was expected before completion of setup or not.
I have
/vice/vol/remote/sagarmatha.nokia.net.list
/vice/vol/BigVolumeList
but both files are empty, and I'm not sure what they ought to contain.
