Dartmouth College (located in Hanover, NH) is seeking applicants for the position of Metadata Librarian, Strategy and Management in the Cataloging and Metadata Services Department of Dartmouth Library. Reporting to the Interim Head of Cataloging and Metadata Services, the person in this position will work collaboratively with other Cataloging & Metadata staff to support the teaching, learning, and research mission of Dartmouth College by defining library metadata strategies and applying them to (1) collaboratively build the information discovery and fulfillment environment for Dartmouth students, faculty, and staff and (2) ensure that Dartmouth information resources are available on, and integrated into, the open web. Desired qualifications: strong background in standard cataloging tools such as RDA, LCSH, OCLC, integrated library systems (Dartmouth uses Alma and PrimoVE).
