The University of Iowa Libraries seeks an innovative and collaborative librarian for the newly created Metadata Librarian & Electronic Resources Cataloger. Reporting to the Director of Cataloging-Metadata, this person will provide high quality metadata for a vast array of digital collections and electronic resources and serve as the department contact for e-resources inquiries and database maintenance issues. We intend to hire for one position at either the Librarian or Specialist Librarian classification, based on the qualifications of the successful candidate. The Librarian classification starting salary range is $49,000 - $51,000, and the Specialist Librarian classification starting salary range is $52,500 - $65,000.
