I dealt with a QVC TracFone several years ago, so this might not apply anymore. At the time, the phone came with a default of like 90 minutes of calls when activated, PLUS a card that had to be activated on the phone to get the full 400 minutes (or whatever the QVC deal was at the time). You might want to ask if they still have the box and paperwork that came with the phone and see if there's a minutes card with it.
