Jean, We are actively using and developing ReservesDirect here at NCSU Libraries. I'd be happy to share our experiences with you (privately or publicly). We released a slightly updated version of the code in early 2011, since it's no longer being actively developed by Emory University. You can see more on Google code, in case you hadn't seen this yet.
