When I am testing, this is the ./configure line I use for ircu2.10.11. You will notice that all the ?paths are not the same.
./configure --prefix=/home/hektik/irc --bindir=/home/hektik/irc --sbindir=/h ome/hektik/irc --sysconfdir=/home/hektik/irc --libdir=/home/hektik/irc --man dir=/home/hektik/irc/man --with-dpath=/home/hektik/irc --with-cpath=/home/he ktik/irc/ircd.conf --with-lpath=/home/hektik/irc/ircd.log Try changing the cpath setting to the actual ircd.conf file, NOT the directory where it resides.
