You need approx 500 mb (for mod.cservice, without source), so for compiling it (only mod.cservice (X)) you need +/- 800 megs ... Only that is almost impossible on a shell. You also need a PgSQL db for mod.cservice and one for mod.ccontrol. GNUWorld is mostly hosted at home-servers or own servers .... Note that for the website u need PGSQL support into php and one pgsql db extra. So, if you want to buy a shell for GNUWorld, I think you have to pay very much.
