Umm, I can't remember the other things right now. ;) It was by no
means perfect
and had plenty of warts, but it was definately better than I was
expecting ;)
Also agreed. The dynamic typing kills me sometimes (is there a
static analysis tool for Javascript), but as a language it's quite
good. No standard library hurts though... the main reason I prefer C+
+ over C these days is that the STL is at least a standard library of
good data structures. (I can see Erik starting to foam at the mouth
now :).
