Por fin me contestaron.. positivamente!!! :) Además han aceptado liberar
el script original bajo una licencia casi-libre : CC-BY 3.0. Me falló
proponerle directamente una licencia más libre pero creo que para el uso
deseado será apropiada.
El formato no es ideal (Word, a lo cual agregué ODT y PDF) pero se puede
usar para producir los subtítulos.

The intention is to produce a "master" .srt subtitle file and publish

all for non-profit, although I'd like to suggest the licence to not
restrict any commercial usage (just like the video is licensed now).
This would permit for example usage of the video and subtitles in
academic events, commercial conferences, etc. Since the video has a
"CC-BY" licence, attribution would also be there. Of course you could
then use the subtitles to produce/ add to a DVD with all of them.
We can do the transcript ourselves under the current video licence,
however I am asking for it to prevent any duplicate work and errors.
Word format is fine, I could then convert it. Let me know if this is
possible at all, otherwise we will start the work of manually doing
the transcript ourselves. I would also suggest if you can decide for a
licence, to just publish the file on your website alongside the video.
