Dilpret Singh, a grower in Sangrur, Punjab, India, is shipping a "new
consignment of ready-to-eat millets" to Canada, targeting the Punjabi
diaspora there.

The article discusses the techniques and challenges he faces, and his
approach to marketing. He has previously begun exporting to Australia.

Millets mentioned include finger millet, sorghum, pearl millet, and
browntop millet. These are sourced not only from Sangrur, but also other
regions in India.

Vicella Laboratory is producing a dietary supplement based on matcha green
tea along with several grains including Japanese barnyard millet and
"glutinous millet" (may be waxy proso?)'
