The way I've used lexpr is to simply say --export lexpr and if you've specify -f dirname, it will write to /tmp/L. You can change the filename with lexpr,f=/tmp/foo and not use -f. It's also possible to write to raw/plot files at the same time using combinations of -f, -P and --rawtoo. One other feature of lexpr some people may miss is you can also include ,s=xxx and it will only write data for the named subsystems to the lexpr output file while continuing to write everything to plot and/or raw.
The only question, and this is for Peter, is when you wrote your lustre plugin did you include code for handling exported data? If not, this won't work but I can certainly point you to some code that shows how to do this. For example the PrintExport routine in hello.ph. -mark On Thu, Sep 10, 2015 at 5:31 PM, Grigory Shamov <[email protected] > wrote: > Hi All, > > What would be the syntax to specify that I want —export lexpr to use > lustreClient module to save the data to a file? > > -- > Grigory Shamov > Westgrid/ComputeCanada Site Lead > University of Manitoba > E2-588 EITC Building, > (204) 474-9625 > > > > From: Peter Piela <[email protected]> > Date: Wednesday, 2 September, 2015 3:33 PM > To: Grigory Shamov <[email protected]> > Cc: Mark Seger <[email protected]>, " > [email protected]" < > [email protected]> > Subject: Re: [Collectl-interest] Lustre plugin?
