First ECDL certification in Romania using OpenOffice.org
November 30th 2005:
The Romanian national operator for ECDL announced that they have held
the first examination (ECDL Module 3 - Word Processing) using the
OpenOffice.org office suite.
This is the first time in Romania and it finally gives the ECDL
certifications true vendor independence in this country and it also
proves once again that the OpenOffice.org suite is a competitive
alternative to the popular Microsoft Office suite.
