With some input from different NLC projects these pages could become a
central part of our web presence.
Would be great to have involvement in why.openoffice.org from NLC
projects. They have great, highly skilled and talented contributors.
Uniting our forces in creating a convincing and appealing site like
why.openoffice.org (with its translations after that too) would benefit
all the NLC projects because decision makers world-wide as well as
consultants would have the arguments at hand when considering OOo.
Why.OOo will save them hours of search through hundreds of pages just to
find out answers to simple but key questions!
Local efforts without having a unified message and marketing support at
international level is likely to keep us at the current stage forever
and/or stop us from progressing at a normal rate.
At the current stage of OOo adoption, having a clear message and easier
to find arguments for specific markets is key for increasing OOo's our
market share. And this cannot be properly done without NLC experiences
and involvement. BUT if it is done right, it will benefit all the NLC
projects.
I know there is a lot of knowledge and expertize inside the NLC projects
- so it would be great, if all the native lang communities could be
informed - and one or another would join us at the wiki ;-)
..and on the mailing lists, here or on [EMAIL PROTECTED], depending on what
you prefer. What matters is to hear from you.
Thanks in advance for all the contributions you might be able to bring
in from your communities.
