Hi all, Action item: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/CJK_Group/Minutes#Minutes
> Get more QA and L10N TCM testers
> 1. Maho will share his JA QA experience and practice on the list.
I think we'll lost when we have too many testers. Their skill can be
different. Experienced and enough members are needed.
1. Knowing each other.
2. Making consensus, what to do.
3. Clear and consistent information.
4. Marketing.
5. To be an experienced testers.
* Good QA release managers. S/he must know many stuffs.
Correct information; Release cycles, how bugs are fixed, etc.
Clear object: what we do the test; what we can do, and cannot.
who can participate,
when testers can test,
how feedbacks are upstreamed.
* Volunteers motivation: their results will improve what? when upstreamed?
Volunteers tell us bugs, their results etc. We must tell volunteers
how the bugs will be fixed.
* Good marketing.
We have an announce mailing list, which is dedicated for announce.
Becoming an established one will take a time.
Do announce "call for volunteers".
Make things clear to volunteers; consistent description.
Sometimes, we have an inconsistent description. If somethings are wrong,
(especially newly participated) volunteers will get lost.
* Not to be exhausted.
Do not do too much works.
Best,
