Update of bug #13111 (project classpath): Assigned to: None => smarothy
_______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #1: Hi Ito, thanks for reporting this! We really need folks who can test these things. I obviously wouldn't know a good japanese mapping from a bad one even if it told me so itself :). I would prefer one of two solutions here: 1) Fix the iconv library. This isn't really a bug in the classpath code. or 2) Write a java SJIS converter, and do it correctly. My plan is to have java converters for all the charsets Java supports natively. So this will need to be done sooner or later. GCJ has their own SJIS converter we could perhaps port or use. Although admittedly, I haven't seen your patch. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=13111> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Commit-classpath mailing list Commit-classpath@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/commit-classpath
