We use ArgoCD to deploy Airflow, and we disabled helm hooks and instead replaced with ArgoCD annotations to run the migrations on `Sync`. The caveat is that the migrations are run everytime there is a container image update or we manually Sync, but then its a small price to pay for automations -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
