   Only thing I could find WHICH IS INSECURE AND SHOULD ONLY BE TEMPORARY 
[until mysql team fixes the 
issue](https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=113432&thanks=3&notify=195) (but gets 
the job done) is to add the `[allow-insecure=yes]` in 
`/etc/apt/sources.list.d/mysql.list`:
   
   `deb [allow-insecure=yes] http://repo.mysql.com/apt/debian/`
