GitHub user jedcunningham edited a comment on the discussion: Worker pod
terminology related to kubernetes executor and kubernetesPodOperator

Not saying my terms are "official", but I tend to use "worker pod" for the red
and "task pod" for the blue. "KE pod" and "KPO pod" respectively are also
acceptable.

"worker pod" or "operator pod" for blue wouldn't be imo. Why? Those both imply
"airflow" since worker and operator are general airflow terms, but the pod is
most likely _not_ airflow (doing airflow in KPO is a bit of an antipattern).
