Thanks for pointing that out — and I totally understand how this might have caught you off guard. I actually didn’t realize you intended to open the PR yourself, and I didn’t mean to overstep. Since it was labeled as a proposal and not assigned, I thought it was open for contribution, especially since the issue form said “Are you willing to submit a PR?” — which I’ve seen filled out by many to signal interest but not always as a reservation. That said, I genuinely respect your initiative and am more than happy to close my PR so you can continue with your original plan. I’ve also learned a lot through this and appreciate the chance to contribute, even in a small way.
