Simpler approach would be if we can just say "won't fix" and fail if the target environment has both airflow and pendulum != current pendulum version. I think this is not a big limitation, you can always use pendulum < 3 and no airflow installed if you wish to use airflow context -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
