So how can we achieve our goal? > > I also observed this in many test pattern - we generally increase the delay time Not too familiar with Celery specifically, so I trusted Buğra with his suggested numbers - but in general falky tests are associated with sort of instability (unexpected latency in response, lack of resources, race conditions, etc.), which is usually unknown but could be managed. So by increasing delay time we try to overcome the flakiness to reduce chances of failure - it might take a couple iterations until we figure out the "right" numbers. Unfortunately the root cause might not be related though (which seems that you try to handle with the other PR), but "spacing" between retries wouldn't harm :) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
