IMO this is adding visual noise to the navigation that doesn't provide enough value to warrant. Yes both are possible, I can update the PR to only show the trademark when logo is updated. Second option to put that into a navigation submenu instead is possible too. I probably know Jarek answer (even if I can't speak for him 🙂), it weakens the brand marketing compare to the current implementation because it will be much easer to miss.
