Verified that the #68679 backend strategy refactor preserves all existing
behavior and public API contracts across Standalone, YARN, and K8s modes.
I'll open a quick follow-up PR to fix the missing space in the
_YarnSparkSubmitBackend exception message ("conflicts with") and look into
promoting those private hook properties to public methods.
