## Docker / compose («New tag with fixes to align with Google composer») 1. Confirm you’re hitting the **mapped host port**, not `localhost` inside the container from your browser on the host (that part is easy to mix up). 2. Persist config with a volume; `docker compose down` without volumes looks like “settings vanished”. 3. GPU: you need the NVIDIA Container Toolkit (or equivalent) **and** the compose `deploy.resources` / `gpus` stanza the docs show. `nvidia-smi` in the container is the check. 4. Read `docker logs` for the **first** fatal line; later Python tracebacks are often just fallout. Paste compose service snippet (redact secrets) + image tag + `docker logs` tail.
