I'd like to take this on. Based on #69820 and this issue, it sounds like a split-button pattern (default action + small dropdown affordance, similar to GitHub's Merge button) is the preferred direction over the current click-to-open-menu-then-click-Trigger flow. Before I open a PR: should this reuse the shared button abstraction from #45097 (TriggerDAGButton/ClearRunButton), and should 'remember last config' apply only within a session, or persist per-user?
