Thanks for keeping this alive, @nathadfield. The path is clear from @uranusjr's review — a synchronous AssetEventSensor first (drop deferrable, use the inlet / context["inlet_events"][asset] approach for lineage), with the triggerer/deferrable work as a follow-up. @hussein-awala , is there anything blocking the sync-only rework, or anything we can do to help get it over the line?
