TimotheBarbe opened a new pull request, #74848:
URL: https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/74848

With the Datadog backend, `Stats.timer()` metrics (e.g.
`scheduler.scheduler_loop_duration`) are sent in seconds instead of the
documented milliseconds, because `DogStatsd.timed()` defaults to seconds.

The Datadog timer now sends the duration already measured by `Timer` via
`dogstatsd.timing()`, like the OTel timer does. This keeps sub-millisecond
precision (`use_ms=True` rounds to whole ms) and does not depend on how the
`DogStatsd` client is configured.
