Thanks for the review. The reason for this change is #75014:
log_events_on_startup set on EksPodOperator is lost when the task defers,
because EksPodTrigger doesn't accept the flag and the operator doesn't pass it.
So the triggerer keeps logging pod events even when users turn it off.
You're right that my first commit didn't explain this, and it was also
wrong: I added the parameter to the wrong class. I've pushed a corrected
version that adds the parameter to EksPodTrigger, forwards it from
EksPodOperator, and updated the description.
