Dev-iL opened a new pull request, #75642: URL: https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/75642
related: #74555 The hook-lineage exclusion tests used `gs://` assets, so they silently depended on the google provider registering its asset converter. Where google is not installed, translation produces no datasets and the tests fail for reasons unrelated to dataset exclusion. The exclusion logic is now tested with `file://` assets, whose converter comes from `common.io`, a newly declared dev dependency. Translation through real provider converters (`gs` and `s3`) is covered by a separate parameterized integration test that runs only when the owning provider is installed. The test coverage of OpenLineage+s3 is new. --- ##### Was generative AI tooling used to co-author this PR? <!-- If generative AI tooling has been used in the process of authoring this PR, please change below checkbox to `[X]` followed by the name of the tool, uncomment the "Generated-by". --> - [x] Yes (please specify the tool below) Generated-by: Claude Opus 5.5 following [the guidelines](https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/main/contributing-docs/05_pull_requests.rst#gen-ai-assisted-contributions) --- * Read the **[Pull Request Guidelines](https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/main/contributing-docs/05_pull_requests.rst#pull-request-guidelines)** for more information.
