The HITL response form gives the operator's `defaults` the solid brand style before anyone answers. The defaults are what a timeout applies, not a recommended answer, so an `ApprovalOperator` with `defaults=["Reject"]` shows **Reject** as the main button and **Approve** as a muted one, and our users clicked Reject by mistake. - Before a response, every option is styled alike, unless options were preloaded through the URL (`_options`), which stay highlighted. - After a response, the chosen options are highlighted (unchanged). - The rule moves to `utils/hitl.ts` as `isHighlightOption`, with unit tests. The old `??` chain treated `false` as an answer, so a pending request with `chosen_options: []` highlighted nothing. --- ##### Was generative AI tooling used to co-author this PR? - [X] Yes (please specify the tool below) Generated-by: Claude Code following [the guidelines](https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/main/contributing-docs/05_pull_requests.rst#gen-ai-assisted-contributions) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
