The Go, Java and TypeScript serialization conformance checks build and run each SDK's serializer, then compare its output with Airflow's. They are tests rather than static checks. As prek hooks, they needed a full Go, Java or Node toolchain wherever prek ran, and they took minutes on every commit that touched Airflow's serializer or schema. They now run in a `Lang SDK serialization conformance` CI job, one matrix entry per SDK. Each entry sets up only that SDK's toolchain. Selective checks list the SDKs whose inputs changed (the SDK's own files, Airflow's serializer and schema, or the shared harness), so a core serializer change still runs the check for every SDK without running the SDKs' full test suites. The three runner scripts move next to the shared harness in `scripts/ci/lang_sdk_serialization/`, since they are no longer prek hooks. Locally, run one with `python3 scripts/ci/lang_sdk_serialization/check_<go|java|ts>_sdk.py`. --- ##### Was generative AI tooling used to co-author this PR? - [X] Yes — Claude Code (Opus 5.5) Generated-by: Claude Code (Opus 5.5) following [the guidelines](https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/main/contributing-docs/05_pull_requests.rst#gen-ai-assisted-contributions) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
