Siddharth Anand commented on AIRFLOW-329: ----------------------------------------- We have a solution that is performant, hence why we have withheld a PR for a few weeks. The new DAG Stats column will be pretty fast regardless of how many DAGs you have. We did a review with [~maxime.beauche...@apache.org] and he suggested we use the same technique to speed up the current task status, which will happen in a subsequent JIRA. Stay tuned. > Update Dag Overview Page with Better Status Columns > --------------------------------------------------- > > Key: AIRFLOW-329 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRFLOW-329 > Project: Apache Airflow > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: webserver > Affects Versions: Airflow 1.7.1.3 > Reporter: Siddharth Anand > Assignee: Norman Mu > Attachments: DAG-overview-page.png > > > Currently, the DAG Overview page (the default landing page when you visit the > Airflow Webserver) shows a column named Recent Statuses. > This is a step in the right direction but can be a little confusing. it shows > the task statuses for the last executed DAG run or for the DAG run that is > currently executing. > We suggest the following improvement: > * A new column : Dag Runs > ** This column will contain the DAG Run Status for all DAG Runs : Success, > Failed, Running > ** When any of the status circles is clicked on, it will take the user to the > Dag Runs Page and apply the necessary filters > * Rename the existing column : Recent Tasks > *Screen Shots* > !DAG-overview-page.png! -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
