Fokko removed a comment on issue #3834: [AIRFLOW-2965] CLI tool to show the next execution datetime URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-airflow/pull/3834#issuecomment-418470603 I've tried working with the next_execution but stumbled on some problems. For example, if the dag hasn't run yet, I got error since it tries to fetch it from the database. Please keep this in mind. Personally I would prefer a next_execution date that is computed based on the schedule instead or having the scheduler fill this.
