Gentlemen,
I have fixed the compilation error (weird generic issue) and have built a
basic test harness. The basic "sink" functionality is now working.
The checkstyle plugin is still not passing. Also, for whatever reason I can't
get the pipeline to run inside Dataflow. I'm getting a classloading error
stating that only the DirectRunner is available. I'm not executing this from
inside maven "mvn:exec" but instead I am building a uber jar. Not sure how to
make this happen from an uber jar as our build and deployment pipeline requires
this. It down however work locally using DirectRunner and connecting to GCP
with client credentials
