Is there still interest to merge this PR? It looks useful. I think it would be easier if this was done in separate PRs for different statements (SELECT, WHERE, FILTER). I also think that there should be a SqlConformance flag to control this behavior, similar to isGroupByAlias, isHavingAlias, etc. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
