What's more: one project started to show this compilation error after upgrading from quarkus `2.13.2` with camel `3.18.3` to quarkus `2.16.7` with camel `3.20.1`. I am not quite sure what happened, but the project compiled fine before. The xalan-version (`2.7.2`) is identical with both. We do call `XPathAPI`, but other classes from xalan (`org.apache.xalan.xsltc.trax.TransformerFactoryImpl`, `org.apache.xpath.NodeSet` and, `org.apache.xpath.object.XObject` from what I can see).
