Fixed in d7114251689a: - **Not-started pool test**: now uses the no-arg `HikariDataSource()` constructor + setters for lazy init. `getHikariPoolMXBean()` is explicitly asserted null before calling eviction. - **Started pool test**: now compares physical connections (`conn.unwrap(Connection.class)`) before and after `softEvictConnections()` with `assertNotSame`.
